February 2026: Double Race Weekends, Big PBs, and Boston on the Horizon

February was another month to celebrate across the group – standout individual performances, a double race weekend that showed real depth of fitness, and the Boston Marathon build gathering serious momentum. Here’s the full round-up.

Elizabeth Aryeetey – Chingford League 5 Miles & Regent’s Park 10k Club Championship | February 2026

February brought a landmark weekend for Elizabeth, who lined up for two quality races on back-to-back days — and delivered strongly in both.

On Saturday at the Chingford League 5 Miles in Victoria Park, Elizabeth clocked a superb 40:45, showing great strength and control over a testing course. Then, just 24 hours later, she was back on the start line at the Regent’s Park 10k for the Mornington Chasers Club Championship – running 51:49 and taking 1st place in her age category. Backing up that kind of performance the day after a hard race effort is no small thing, and it speaks volumes about where the fitness is right now.

A really solid weekend of racing that bodes very well as we move deeper into the Spring build. 👏

Elizabeth Aryeetey – Wokingham Half Marathon 🇬🇧 | February 2026

Later in the month, Elizabeth returned to racing with another impressive result – this time over the half marathon distance at the Wokingham Half Marathon, running a fantastic 1:51:18 and finishing 9th in her age category.

With the Boston Marathon now firmly in sight this April, everything is tracking perfectly. The hard work is paying off, the momentum is building, and this result is exactly the kind of confidence-boosting marker you want at this stage of a marathon training block. Boston, we’re coming. 💪✨

Emily Martyn – Chingford League 5 Miles, Victoria Park | February 2026

Another standout performance from Emily at the Chingford League 5 Miles in Victoria Park – and another huge PB. Running 35:57, the consistency and momentum Emily has built recently has been nothing short of impressive.

With the London Marathon in April now approaching, the timing couldn’t be better. Everything is coming together really nicely, and if the trajectory of the last few months is anything to go by, there’s plenty more to look forward to. Exciting times ahead. 🔥💪

Elisabeth Scheder-Bieschin – Regent’s Park 10k Club Championship | February 2026

A really solid run from Elisabeth at the Regent’s Park 10k for the Mornington Chasers Club Championship, clocking 59:33 and dipping sub-60 once again on an undulating course.

A great example of controlled, consistent racing over the distance – exactly the kind of performance that builds a strong foundation. Really good work. 👌
